Over the years I have attended different exercise classes such as cardio, yoga, or workouts with weights. Occasionally, when the weather is nice, I enjoy jogging and riding a bicycle.

I learned about Aira’s Pilates from FB page and became curious as I never had any exposure to Pilates. 

I choose Aira’s Pilates because I enjoy a small group setting and an individual attention from the trainer. Especially I appreciate trainer’s emphasis on appropriate form and posture, detailed explanation of how to execute the exercise correctly.

Since I started attending Aira’s Pilates, I noticed that through the breath and slow movement I became more aware of my body and essentially my posture and stability improved. Improvement in the posture and stability helped to resolve a discomfort/pain in the shoulder and lower back. Now, throughout the day, I notice that I am mindful of my body posture and, before starting any activity, I make sure that I use my core as a support for the whole body. This allows me to enjoy physical activity without pain and helps with endurance.
